Purple Crocus

Purple Crocus is a beautiful piece of hand embroidery from textile and wildlife artist Stephanie McCormick, featuring purple crocus flowers in an ornate, restored, vintage French Art Nouveau style frame, circa 1930’s. 
This type of artwork, often referred to as "flower cameo" captures the delicate details of spring blossoms through needlework. 
The background is 100% cotton in sky blue and the embroidery threads are high quality DMC thread.
The frame measures 14cm x 10cm with the oval opening being 8.5cm x 5cm.
