"Goldfinch I" is a stunning piece by textile and wildlife artist Stephanie McCormick from her "Thread & Feather" collection, featuring some of the UK's most common and popular birds. Created using high-quality DMC cotton on a linen background, this beautiful piece of work is meticulously hand-embroidered with single strands of cotton to create the stunning visual effect of the plumage of this favourite garden visitor.
 
The artwork measures 180mm x 180mm, professionally framed with a double mount and a black wood frame measuring 270mm x 270mm. It is glazed with 2mm UV100 Gallery Plexiglas Anti-Reflective Acrylic Glazing to protect and preserve the piece whilst allowing the stunning hand embroidery work to be appreciated in its full detail.
