"Fruits of the hedgerow" is a beautiful hand-embroidered artwork by textile and wildlife artist Stephanie McCormick from her "Hedgerow Tales" collection.

It is hand-embroidered using high-quality DMC cotton thread on a hand-painted cotton background using high-quality fabric paints.

About the Collection

Hedgerow Tales is a series of embroidered studies exploring the small, often overlooked moments of life within the British hedgerow. Combining plants, insects, and wildlife, each piece is based on the artist’s own sketches, watercolours and photographs, capturing interactions and seasonal abundance.

Created using DMC embroidery cotton on a 100% cotton or linen ground, the works bring together texture and observation to suggest narrative and atmosphere. The series reflects the richness of everyday nature and the quiet stories found within it.
